The Netherlands has many cities and towns of interest to travelers. Quite a few travellers visit the Netherlands to enjoy its famously tolerant attitude, to experience these freedoms, you're best off in Amsterdam with coffeeshops and clubs.
A wide range of accommodation is available, concentrated on the major tourist destinations. Official Dutch Youth Hostels are called since they changed their name in 199. "Stay Okay". They are not as widespread as in Great Britain. Also there is no kitchen available for guests, so either you eat what's on menu or you eat out.

EU citizens require only a passport or ID card to stay or work in Netherlands.
Tourists that have a Schengen visa for one of the countries that is a member of the Schengen Agreement, it may be valid for the Netherlands also. So the tourists from Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, USA and most of Europe only need a valid passport for a stay of up to three months.
